Andrew Vuong

Chief Data Strategist at Charles Schwab for two and a half years

What is one piece of advice you have for current PCT members?

  • It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

What is your favorite memory from your time in PCT?

  • 2015 TX-OU Weekend

Anni Yang

Class of 2017

Field Engineer at Schlumberger since summer 2018

What is one piece of advice you have for current PCT members?

  • Always make the best out of your college years but still remember to chase after your future career.

What is your favorite memory of your tine in PCT?

  • I loved being Recruitment Chair and seeing all my PCT babies at the first social event of the semester!

Robert Diamond

Class of 2016

Mergers and Acquisitions Associate  at U.S. Oral Surgery Management for four months

What is one piece of advice you have for current PCT members?

  • Getting involved in leadership roles is critical. It allows you to be more included and getting to know planning and implementation is a critical trait for future careers.

What is your favorite memory from your time in PCT?

  • Being in the room while we were interviewing potential new members was my favorite because it provided a groundwork for my interview skills in my future. Knowing what it felt like to be on the interviewer side helped establish a feeling of comfort when being interviewed. (Also, I enjoyed asking extremely puzzling questions and watching them freak out!)

Sivonna Schutty

Class of 2017

Product Development Engineer at Ford Motor Company for a year

What is one piece of advice you have for current PCT members?

  • Don't sweat the things that are out of your control - in life and in the work place. It causes so much unnecessary stress and you put your focus on the wrong things.

What is your favorite memory of your time in PCT?

  • So many good things but honestly the one that started the best 3.5 years: being a PCT member's formal date before I even joined. I felt I had found my college family before I was even apart of it.
